Yesterday, Canadian Tamil Sports Association held their 21st annual track and field meet successfully.
To encourage Canadian Tamils to take an active role in sports, and to unite Canadian Tamils under sports, CTSA holds these track and field meets every year.
This sports meet was held for all ages and for all genders. Many have participated in it and showcased their skills at their chosen sports events. Some have participated as teams and some individually.
This event was held at York University Track and Field from 9AM to 9PM. It started with the Canadian and Tamileelam flags being hosted. Even though it was drizzling, the event was conducted continously.
Members of Tamil Youth Organization has volunteered at this event in order to show the support of Canadian Tamil youths.
